yes u can use just peat moss, but expect more frequent watering as the perlite is used to retain more moisture, but yeah you can use just peat moss.

Does anyone know what will happen if I use ONLY peat moss? I know the perlite is to add aeration to the soil, but has anyone used JUST peat moss?

    Thanks

Can you use ericaceous soil intead and add perlite/ sand with it?

cos the garden centre recommended i used it as it has got peat moss in it but i read the label and it said it has soluble nutrients, and he said that VFT need poor soil quality
