Politicians in New Jersey have legally approved the use of medical marijuana. As WCBS’ Lou Young reports, residents in the Garden State are divided over the approval of this drug.

damn usa makes it seem like marijuana is horrible/awful/ the worst thing ever. what about alcohol? i would rather hang with a guy who smokes a blunt rather than with a guy who drinks absolut vodka. hes gona go crazy maybe find a fight or go aggressive somewhere. if he smoked a blunt hed be chill and realize that shit is not worth it anyway

people are such hypocrites.. they act as if marijuana is so difficult to acquire and that marijuana is putting our childrens lives at risk.. meanwhile most of these parents drink and smoke in front of their kids, have tons of preion drugs in their medicine cabinets etc. i’m sorry but people here in the u.s are in dire need of some relaxation (especially our adm.) people are just too tense about everything. alcohol, tabaccco are far more deadlier than pot ever will be.
Big Pharma indoctrinated so many people into believing that marijuana is the boogie man in the closet. Marijuana has tons of medicinal properties, native american people throughout the americas (including the u.s) have used it.. by the mere fact that it kills cancer cells (which Big Pharma also is going to that there is no proof), opens up apetite, destresses you (which increases you immune response), regulates blood pressure and helps with pain and even cateracts… is medicine enough.

Nicotine has been described to be almost as addictive as heroin. Marijuana is less addictive and even SAFER than caffeine. THC has anti-carcinogenic effects as proven by several experiments which is likely why no one has ever died from smoking pot.
